In the german federal state of Baden-Wuerttemberg, a wide variety of people live together, both in the city and in the countryside. They encounter each other every day and share their everyday lives with each other in scenes large and small. They all contribute to a functioning society by being open to one another. Because empathy, tolerance, and respect are the foundation of the community in which we live and the core of a democratic society.
This animated short was created in early 2020 as part of the stimulus program for greater social cohesion initiated by the State Ministry of Baden-Wuerttemberg. Due to the Corona pandemic that began shortly after the film's completion, the film could not celebrate its debut until now – five years later.
